Provider Resources for Reopening (Part 2)

As the state progresses through the next phases of reopening, the demand for childcare is likely to increase. As you welcome children back into your centers, there are some ways that you can assure families that you are employing every safeguard possible to keep their little ones well and minimize the risk of exposure to COVID-19.

The ELC has worked with a diverse group of childcare providers from varying segments of early childcare to establish health and safety priorities for reopening centers and for maintaining health standards in ones that have remained open. We collected resources and put together a packet of editable documents that you can personalize for your center to solicit the trust of families and ensure the compliance of staff.

The attached documents include CDC and DCF guidance for child care providers on general operations; including drop-off and pick-up, screening, and healthy hygiene routines. Also included are templates you can use to notify parents of internal policy changes due to COVID19 and a workplace safety agreement.
